CENTRAL OHIO—Authorities have canceled a statewide missing adult alert for a Parma couple.

Edward J. Yambor, 74, and his 77-year-old wife, Patricia Yambor were seen last at 1:55 a.m. Tuesday in Toledo.

The couple was apparently traveling to Tionesta, Pa., from Parma, Ohio.

OSP troopers made contact with the two in Toledo Tuesday, when troopers advised them to turn around and head east. It also was suggested the two get a hotel room for the night.

At that point, they had not been reported missing.

Edward is a diabetic and has memory issues.

Officials announced Wednesday that the alert was canceled and the couple was found in Fruitport, Mich. and returned home safely.

Further details were not available.
