Two young men narrowly escape an apartment fire early Tuesday morning.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Two young men narrowly escaped an apartment fire early Tuesday morning.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
The men in their 20s woke up to a kitchen fire in their Carrolton Club Circle apartment around 4:30 a.m.
Flames blocked their exit from the home.
They were able to call 911 and climb to the second-story windows.
Firefighters were able to rescue the two young men from the second floor.
The first was brought down a ladder and the second told NBC 4 he jumped headfirst into firefighter’s arms.
No one was injured in the fire and the damage is estimated at $6,000 to $8,000.

Well if you’re drunk you’re loose as a goose so I can see why you didn’t hurt yourself lol I figure if they just hung straight down from the window by their arms their feet would be like 6 feet off the ground? lol
Wait a second. The fire was soooooo bad that it blocked thier way out. But it only did $6-8k damage?
And I’m sorry, but look at the 2nd story window. You can’t jump out of that to the ground? I’ve jumped farther drunk out of my mind and didn’t have a scratch.
