Bicyclist Killed In Collision With Van
ROSS COUNTY, Ohio—Troopers are investigating a collision Sunday that killed a Piketon bicyclist.
The crash occurred at 3:17 p.m. on U.S. 23 near George Hollow Road.
Officials said Frank R. Smith, 54, of Piketon, was traveling north on U.S. 23 when his bicycle was struck by a van being driven northbound by Samuel Taylor.
Smith was pronounced dead at the scene.
Taylor, 52, of Grove City, was not injured.
Investigators have not determined who was at fault and the investigation continues.
