It is a reminder on the Revolutionary War and how we won our Independence from England’s death grip. Imagine guns, cannons, rockets, and explosions during a battle. We use fireworks as a way to celebrate this.

“ the rockets red glare, the bombs bursting in air, gave proof through the night that our flag was still there….“

What do fireworks (probably made in China) have to do with the Declaration of Independence, and patriotism?

I truely love this country,..Under God…I grew up in a time when men actually took their hats off when the Star Spangled Banner was sung,..When I saw men and women tear up hearing patriotic songs….I still (to this day) cry every time I hear it….When I hear Ray Charles sing “America” or when I hear “God Bless America”..I actually get goose bumps…I feel that swell of pride in my chest when I hear or sing these…I would love for just one July 4th to get to hear 20 minutes of Patriotic songs with my fireworks…Maybe next year…I doubt it, but I can wish can’t I?...I live in America…
