A sad story indeed. What I don’t understand is blaming the “media” for inaccuracies. Are you schocked?Disappointed?Miffed?Be more concerned
about the details the “Media” leaves out of their coverage of our government.A bunch of drunks(from power).

The local media, as a whole, is incompetent and this is yet another example.  They tend to steer clear of actually stating facts and would rather speculate.  It’s little wonder they’re unaccustomed to spending the time required to give a complete and accurate story.

This story is all wrong. i was there to see the whole thing. The body was laying in their back yard behind their garage. The body was not noticed before because no one ever goes back there looking for bodies. The boy is 14 and his dad noticed it while driving behind the garage. They then got out of the car and checked to see what it was. We then proceeded to calling 911, not the mother. The police told us that the man was drinking to much and wondered back there where he may have had a heart attack. He was in his mid 50s. i would have hoped the news could get one thing right in this story but I guess that is expecting to much.

Doesn’t really matter how much they messed up reporting this story. 14 is still a child. I would’nt want to find anyones body anywhere. The end result is still the same.

danahe is correct.  it would be nice to get the whole CORRECT story, but alas, not that common in the media these days.  i still feel, tho, that to trash someone’s property when these young men will still have some pretty bad things in their heads for a while is wrong.

Bodie,  It is so sad that it takes passing judgement on someone or something to make you and yours feel better. What happpen to the phrase…say something nice or just don’t say it at all? By the way… How happy are you today?

Well another idea would be to accurately report what really happened.  That was not the boys house it was his friends house he was also not 10 he was 14.  The boy’s father was picking him up from his friend’s house when they spotted the body together.  The boy went in the house and told his friends mom to call the police about the body they saw.

it would seem to me that instead of worrying about how a small child is going to react to finding a dead person in their own backyard, bodie would rather throw judgment at the parents.  i doubt if mowing would have stopped the dead body from being in their yard.  i’m also guessing that bodie’s yard is pristine and well taken care of.  if this is the fact, i could use a caretaker for my house, you for sale?
