Buckeye Football:  3 No-Shows At Camp

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Sunday was the first day of training camp for Ohio State Football players and three players who were expected to start were not there.  NBC 4’s Jerod Smalley was there when 103 players showed up on time and prepared for a day of meetings, but some key Buckeyes were not in that group just yet.

Seniors Ray Small and Robert Rose did not report, both are dealing with academic problems and still working on those in the final two weeks of OSU summer classes.  They were actually high school teammates at Cleveland Glenville as well.  Also Linebacker Tyler Moeller did not report as team officials had hoped due to the head injury sustained on Saturday.  A spokesperson tells NBC 4, he is still a patient at OSU Medical Center listed in fair condition and is expected to join the team this week.
