Bullet Goes Into Apartment; CPD Stops Vehicle

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Shots were fired on North High Street early Monday and a bullet went into a nearby apartment.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Columbus police was working special duty at Skully’s at 1151 N. High St. when officers heard several shots outside and called for backup.

Officers spotted a vehicle speeding out of the Family Dollar parking lot at 1101 N. High St.

CPD stopped the vehicle at High Street and East 2nd Avenue on the city’s North Side.

As many as four people who were in the vehicle were detained.

CPD said there were several shell casings in the Family Dollar lot.

No one was injured when the bullet struck and went into a nearby apartment.

CPD said they weren’t sure at what the suspects were shooting or why.
