This is just silly.  No one is ‘addicted’ to marijuana.

Hope this young man is found and gets some good counseling. My thoughts are with his family. He has a sweet face.

Look…it is pretty obvious I gave the wrong impression here…yes, this may be a troubled kid…(Though there are plenty of troubled kids that DON’T threaten suicide then run away)...yes, to all kinds of things such as it being a tragedy…I’m just making the point that blaming it on marijuana addiction is insane!  Fine…let’s find the kid and throw him in jail as an admitted marijuana user (drug possession is still a crime, and if you get a blood sample, you’ll no doubt find THC there).  We’ll hang onto him for a year or two for possession…maybe he’ll be a better citizen when he gets out!

Truly, I DON’T want to blow things out of porportion…let’s just concentrate on finding the kid and leave the side issues out of it!  I just get aggravated when I see rubbish like trying to blame it on marijuana instead of taking personal responsibility.  He’s probably a pillar of the community, I don’t know…but in any event, do what needs to be done and go from there.

At this point it doesnt matter what he is or is not addicted to, the fact of the matter is we have a young man who wants to end his own life. We are talking a child who hasnt lived his life yet. This boy lives across the street from me and is well mannered, intellegent and well kept. This boy needs found and needs some help. Having 2 sons of my own, I can only imagine what his mother must be going through. My thoughts and prayers are with his family and with Obatala. I hope all turns out for the best and this young man gets the help that he needs.

Well this is sad.  I disagree with the prior comment.  Will be looking for his face in our area as we do our daily tasks.  It doesn’t matter the reason, he needs help.

Pretty obvious something’s amiss here!  I’m addicted to chocolate…doesn’t mean I’m ready for suicide.  And being addicted to chocolate is real similar.  Talk with any specialistor MJ smoker.  If he’s comtemplating suicide it’s for some other reason and either he or someone else is using the herb as the excuse.
