Driver Tries To Climb On Top Of Moving Car

HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio—Troopers continued to investigate a one-vehicle injury crash that happened in Knox County early Friday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The following information came from an official release.

Donald L. Williams, 19, of Bladensburg was driving westbound on state Route 229 in a 1996 Ford Contour at about 2:15 a.m.

Williams attempted to climb on top of the vehicle while it was moving.

Williams lost his grasp on the vehicle and fell to the roadway, striking his head. 

Keenan J. Diguiseppi of Hebron and 18-year-old Chadwick O. Davis of Howard were passengers in the vehicle. 

Williams was transported to Knox Community Hospital then taken by Med-Flight to Grant Medical Center where he is listed in critical condition. 

Diguiseppi and Davis were not injured in the incident, which remains under investigation.
