A Dublin police officer is injured when his cruiser crashes with another vehicle Saturday night.

DUBLIN, Ohio— A Dublin officer was involved in a crash late Saturday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The Dublin police officer was not on an emergency run, officials said, when his cruiser was involved in an accident with another vehicle.

The crash occurred at state Route 161 and Corbins Mills Drive on the west side of Old Dublin at about 9 p.m. 

Both the officer and the other driver were taken to Dublin Methodist Hospital for nonlife-threatening injuries.

The Ohio Highway Patrol continued to investigate the incident.
