Teen, Horse Killed In Crash With Car

BLOOM TOWNSHIP, Ohio—A 15-year-old girl and a horse were both killed in a crash with a motor vehicle. 

Troopers said that on November 6, 2009 at 6:25 p.m., Donald U Brunney, age 69 of Pleasantville, was traveling westbound on Marcy Road driving a 2006 Ford Taurus when he struck a horse ridden by Chastity L. Marsh, age 15, of Canal Winchester.

Chastity was transported to Nationwide Children’s Hospital by Bloom Township E.M.S. where she was later pronounced dead from injuries sustained in the crash.

Brunney was wearing his safety belt and was not injured in the crash.

The crash remains under investigation at this time.

The causative factor will be determined upon completion of the crash investigation.
