Free Doggie Eye Exams This Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio—This week is National Service Dog week.  Ophthalmologists from MedVet Medical and Cancer Center for Pets are offering free complete ophthalmic examinations to service dogs.  These dogs include guide dogs, handicapped assistance dogs, detection dogs, police dogs and search and rescue dogs.  By offering these free services the hope is the service dog’s health is improved and potential disease averted so they can continue their jobs of helping people.

To schedule an eye exam for your service dog, contact MedVet Medical and Cancer Center for Pets at (614) 846-5800.  The free service will be offered on Monday, May 4 and Friday May 8, 2009.
