From Storm Team 4’s Marshall McPeek:

A low-pressure center will move through the far-southeastern section of Ohio during the day Saturday.  It will push a mix of precipitation through the state.  In southeastern Ohio, most of the precipitation will be rain.  Around and along I-71, the precipitation will be rain, rain/snow mix and freezing rain.  In north Central and northern Ohio, it’ll be snow.  As usual, Columbus is right on the rain/snow mix line.  Expect icy roads and slippery conditions.  Allow extra time and plenty of distance between vehicles.

Tonight, as the low moves eastward, it will drag in some colder air and the precipitation will change to snow showers across the entire state.  When it’s all over tonight, expect 2 to 4 inches in north Central Ohio, 1 to 2 inches in Central Ohio and less than an inch in southeastern Ohio.

TODAY:  freezing rain and rain in the Columbus area, snow north, high 34.
TONIGHT:  freezing rain and rain changing to snow showers in the evening, accumulations 1”-3”, low 23.
SUNDAY:  a few leftover snow showers and flurries in the morning, then some clearing, high 32.  Scattered snow showers overnight.
MONDAY:  partly cloudy in the morning, turning cloudy in the afternoon with some snow showers in the evening, high 37.
TUESDAY:  snow and snow showers, high 27.
WEDNESDAY:  snow and snow showers, colder, high 18.
THURSDAY:  windy and cold, scattered snow showers, high 17.
FRIDAY:  cloudy and frigid, high 10.
