MOUNT VERNON, Ohio—A local teacher who is accused of burning a cross on a student’s arm during a science experiment is now suing the school board and administrators.

John Freshwater was suspended without pay after allegations of professional misconduct last spring, and an independent firm found he allegedly caused physical harm to a student.

Freshwater said the school board also wants to fire him for keeping a Bible on his desk.

The lawsuit cites free speech and equal protection violations.

Freshwater gives all christians a bad name. He should be in jail with the doctor killer. They have the same attitude about “their” God.

This idiot should be in jail for abuse.  I’m sick and tired of seeing criminals turn around and sue and waste time and taxpayer money.
