A local daycare is evacuated Thursday after a gas leak.

HILLIARD, Ohio—A local daycare was evacuated Thursday after a gas leak.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The Kindercare Learning Center at 3710 Ridge Mill Dr. was evacuated for a short time Thursday after a construction crew hit a gas line.

Columbus fire Battalion Chief David Whiting said the crew hit the gas line while putting in playground equipment outside of building.

The evacuation ended shortly after noon when CFD cleared the scene.
