REYNOLDSBURG, Ohio—A teen girl and 44-year-old women were injured seriously in a head-on crash Sunday afternoon.

The girl was involved in a head-on collision at Waggoner Road near Amelia Drive. Authorities later identified her as Alissa Guinn of Reynoldsburg.

Alissa was traveling southbound on Waggoner Road in a 1996 Dodge Stratus.

An accident report said she drove left of center and struck 44-year-old Kimberly Barker of Reynoldsburg. Barker was driving a 2006 Dodge Caravan northbound on Waggoner Road.

The impact compressed the car, requiring rescuers to peel off the roof to free Alissa. She was flown to The Ohio State University Medical Center with serious injuries.

Baker was taken to Grant Medical Center with serious injuries.

Alcohol was not suspected at this time. Speed and weather were not factors. Seat belts were in use in both vehicles.

The crash remained under investigation by the Franklin County sheriff’s office.

Waggoner Road was closed during the investigation.

Actually, I think HP Fan made a bad statement in this situation. Both people in this crash WERE/ARE innocent I dont think it was Alissa’s intention that day to go out and get into a crash and be the guilty one. Yes something bad happened to both of them. but dont forget the one that cannot walk until both of her legs heal cannot breath until her collapsed lung is better and has to live with this guilt for the rest of her life, she was taken out with the jaws of life the other person was fine but not in perfect condition. so lets not forget both of them, lets pray for both of them for a full recovery.

Thank you!

The “poor woman” being referred to is the Children’s Minister at Eastpointe Christian Church.  Definitely a tragedy for both families!  However, there are more people than you can imagine praying for both of these ladies!!

It’s just heartbreaking when kids get into accidents, but lets not forget the poor woman she hit.  I hope that innocent person makes a full recovery.

Prayers go out to this girl and her family. She goes to my sons school and she is a good kid. My heart just breaks another kid in an accident.
