Traffic is flowing again after several lane and ramp closures due to two fatal crashes on the city’s east side.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Several east-side ramps accessing Interstate 270 are closed after two fatal crashes Friday morning.

According to initial reports, a woman was hit by a semi along I-270. She was pronounced dead after the crash.
Just south of the first crash, a second fatal crash occurred at about 3:45 a.m.
Several ramps were closed during the investigation and cleanup, including I-70 east to I-270 north, I-70 west to I-270 north, I-270 north to I-70 west and I-270 north to East Main Street.
Officials opened the ramp from I-70 west to I-270 north, as well as the I-270 north ramp to E. Main Street shortly after 6 a.m.

Patty, According to the Westerville City web site Beggar’s Night is Saturday, October 31 from 6-8 p.m. citywide. Depending on where you live, it’s possible that your neighborhood may be on the line with a township that was hosting a different Beggar’s Night. I would suggest contacting the city.
In the meantime, I am going to edit your entry to remove your phone number for your safety.
Thanks,
Denise Yost
Keyonna I will never forget you….. you were a true friend and a bright, beautiful person!!! you will be missed.
NBC4..Thank you for this opportunity. More than a comment, I have a question that affects my neighborhood and I need to know. I live in Westerville. From this website I learned that our Beggar’s Night is Saturday, Oct. 31st. BUT..last night we had little beggars constantly, from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. That was okay and I’m ready for Saturday, but, this is odd. Could you explain what happened and what the proper proceedure is now? Thank you so much for your help. Patty J. Holt-Shay
