Illness Closes Local Charter School

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Illness has closed an elementary charter school for the remainder of the week.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Great Western Academy at 310 N. Wilson Rd. will be closed for the rest of the week because a number of its students and teachers are ill.

Principal Jennifer Keller said 25 percent of the school’s population is sick.

The school will be closed Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, Keller said.

The school already was to be closed Friday.
