Leader Of $100M Pot Ring Sentenced To 20 Years

COLUMBUS, Ohio - The leader of an operation federal authorities said smuggled more than $100 million worth of marijuana to Ohio has been sentenced to 20 years in prison.
Donald Dailey Jr. broke down as he apologized to family members and said what he did “wasn’t worth it” before his sentencing Tuesday in Columbus. U.S. District Judge Michael Watson also charged Dailey $5,400 in fines and other costs.
Forty-year-old Dailey, from Pataskala in Central Ohio, pleaded guilty in March to charges including operating a continuing criminal enterprise. Investigators say he led a ring that brought drugs from Arizona to central Ohio in recreational vehicles.
Agents said a March 2008 raid on his Dailey’s home turned up $3.2 million in cash and more than a ton of marijuana.

Yeah put the “weed” dealer behind bars for 20yrs, make sure that pedophile or sexual predator checks in with his neighbors. Laws are so backwards. When the marijuana laws are corrected, what do u say to these ppl who spent many years locked up with the real criminals. I just dont get it. TOO MUCH GOVERMENT CONTROL!!!!
Now they have to release a murderer from prison to make room for this guy!
Its an AP article, so the author probably assumed that many of the readers would not be local to the area and wouldn’t know how to pronounce Pataskala.
Cannabis prohibition is such a waste of money. It is the United States biggest cash crop, but rather than tax and regulate it, we would rather arrest, incarcerate and waste money!
I love how the article has to include the “Pronunciation” of the town name “Pataskala” in it.
Like they know their readers aren’t “Edjumakated” enough to figure it out on their own…..ha ha.
