Woman Dies After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree

MADISON COUNTY, Ohio—A woman died after a vehicle went off the road and crashed into a tree late Saturday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

Troopers said the accident happened shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday on Plain City-Georgesville Road in Madison County.

The vehicle was traveling northbound when it went off the road, hit a mailbox and crashed into a tree, OSP said.

Phillip Sias, 47, of London was the driver and was transported by ambulance to Grant Medical Center.

Titiana Chapman, 35, of Madison County was transported to Grant Medical Center by Med-Flight.

Chapman died a few hours after from her injuries, according to authorities.

OSP continued to investigate the crash.
