Mansfield Firefighters Set To Lose Jobs

MANSFIELD, Ohio – The fire department in Mansfield is making cuts because of dwindling money.  Twenty firefighters are losing their jobs; a fire station will also be closed.  Eight fire captains will be reduced to the rank of firefighters and trucks will also be lost.  One of the laid-off firefighters has 10 years with the department.
