Police are asking the public for help to find a missing Whitehall man who may be in life-threatening danger.
WHITEHALL, Ohio—Authorities asked the public for help to find a missing Whitehall man who may be in life-threatening danger.

George Beck was last seen at his home on Heritage Drive East in Whitehall about 6:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Beck walks with a cane; he suffered a stroke a few months ago. His cane was discovered at his home.
Beck requires medication. Police said there is a potential for suicide.
Beck was described as a 63-year-old white male.
He is 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 260 pounds.
He has a receding hair line with brown and gray hair, a gray mustache and beard and wears glasses.
When he was seen last, he was wearing a black fleece Cincinnati Bengals jacket with a small amount of orange on it.
Call the Whitehall Division of Police at 614-237-6333 if you see Beck or have any information regarding his whereabouts.

Update: GEORGE HAS BEEN FOUND! He is alive and safe back home with his family. Thank you all for your help, thoughts and prayers.
I have known many years, worked with him a few years and bowled in a league with him. I hope and pray he is alright.
This is a close family friend of mine, he has a VERY worried wife, daughter & grandkids. Please contact the Whitehall Police Department if you see him and keep his family in your thoughts & prayers.
I sure hope they find this man, living in the Country Club East apartments is dangerous for anyone much less a sick or disabled person
