NBC 4 Connects You To The Breathing Association’s HEAP Winter Crisis Program

NBC 4 wants you to stay warm and well this winter and is directing you to The Breathing Association’s HEAP Winter Crisis Program if you need payment assistance for your home heating bills.  The Breathing Association, in partnership with the Ohio Department of Development, OANO, and NBC 4 is taking applications for their HEAP Winter Crisis Program though March 31, 2009.  This is The Breathing Association’s HEAP (Home Energy Assistance Program) which is designed to help eligible low income Ohioans meet the high cost of home energy heating bills.

Some of the eligibility criteria include that income eligibility is 175% of the Federal Poverty Guideline and a face to face interview is required.  The maximum amount for bill payment assistance for regulated utilities is up to $175.  For a complete list of eligibility requirements, log on to http://www.BreathingAssociation.org
