Ganahl: Rainy & Chilly Tonight

» 0 Comments | Post a Comment

I have to admit, when I heard the cicadas well before July 4th, I thought “man they are going to be wrong this time.”

WOW, amazing, we had the frost that last night in September!  29 in Hilliard and 32 at the station – numerous places between 30 and 33 in Ohio this morning.

Michigan dropped to 24 and Alaska bottomed out at -11.  Snow fell in Vermont, Rockies are next tonight.

There is one computer model, not sure I believe it yet as models flop around on long range; but this one model we use a lot is predicting snow for next weekend here!

No bugs are brave enough to predict their own death so no folklore working on this one.

Rain tonight and tomorrow:  .33” - .75”

This will end before football tomorrow night but it will be wet, muddy.

Only time thunder seems possible is around 7am Friday when the LIFTED INDEX drops to 00 – marginal

During the night the index is stable at +5 to +10 and after noon tomorrow it is also +5 to +10 suggesting just rain

Tonight 47

Tomorrow 65

60 for the games tomorrow night

Few showers, gray skies, and cool Saturday for Buckeyes and for here.  62
