FAYETTE COUNTY, Ohio – The Fayette County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a robbery suspect following an extensive manhunt in rural central Fayette County Saturday night.  In a release put out by the Sheriff’s Office, Deputies were sent to a home on Yeoman Road around 7 p.m. on Saturday when the residents came home and were confronted by an unknown man.  The man was carrying a ball bat and demanded their cell phones.  The residents complied with his demand and the man fled into an adjacent corn field.  Authorities, including the Highland County Sheriff’s Office airplane, were called and surrounded the cornfield to aid in the search.  Shortly after 10 p.m., 21-year old Donald Cox of Greenfield was arrested and taken to the Fayette County Jail.

It takes a real nutjob to break into a rural home since most people that live in the country have guns and can shoot and often have a gun in the car or truck with them.
I would have loved to have read headline that said Homeowner Shoots Idiot With Baseball Bat.
