COLUMBUS, Ohio—One officer was hit by another officer’s vehicle while trying to apprehend two suspects Tuesday morning.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

CPD officers were looking for a stolen vehicle in the area of 900 South Hague Avenue on the city’s West Side at about 9:20 a.m.

The officers spotted the vehicle and two suspects. The two suspects ran from the officers, police said.

A uniformed CPD officer started to chase the suspects on foot.

An undercover officer in an unmarked vehicle tried to stop the suspects and inadvertently struck the running uniformed officer.

The struck officer was in stable condition.

The suspects remained on the loose.
