CANTON, Ohio—A part-time police officer in an Ohio township has been fired after a cruiser’s dashboard video camera recorded her sharing kisses with the police chief while a prisoner was in the car’s back seat.
Perry Township trustees Tuesday night fired 30-year-old Janine England. She was hired April 13. Township police Chief Timothy Escola retired June 30 after four years with the department about 50 miles south of Cleveland.
Trustees had received England’s letter of resignation earlier Tuesday. In the letter, England describes her work as exemplary but says leaving would be in the best interest of the department.
Township Law Director Charles Hall recommended she be fired. Hall had received an anonymous allegation that prompted a review of the cruiser’s camera from the June 2 incident.

I don’t mean to be gross or anything, but when they speed up the video (which I think they did on purpose so you couldn’t tell) she seems to be doing a lot of moving. Kinda makes me wonder what her hands are up to??? SORRY!EEEEWWWWW!
CORRECT ! She could have done much better with ME.
1. I don’t allow prisoners in the vehicle.
2. If a dash camera, then on goes a lens cap.
3. Kissing would be done while car was motionless and in a secure environment.
4. I would not “kiss and tell.“
:-)

What is wrong with that woman she could do better than that.

Actually she WAS fired. She tried to resign, but the trustees refused to accept her resignation and fired her. The article in the Canton Repository (cantonrep.com) got it right. The way this article was written, you could assume otherwise.
The Chief retired on June 30…a forced retirement. The same way that the female was able to resign, contrary to the title of the article, she was not fired if she turned in a letter of resignation.
Wow, you get hired on to do a part time job on April 13 and already on June 2 you’re making out with the big whig. I highly suggest she keep trying this method, as it really seemed to work for her. Ha!
As to why he wasn’t fired? Well, he was the police chief, obviously from his acations quite an outstanding man among men, wouldn’t you say?
Why wasn’t he fired?
What is wrong with that woman she could do better than that.
Hail to the Chief.
