GEORGETOWN, South Carolina—Investigators are looking for witnesses to a medical helicopter crash Friday night that killed an Ohio native.

Forty-two-year-old flight nurse Diana Conner was one of three crew members who died when the aircraft went down in a sparsely populated area in South Carolina, about 60 miles northeast of Charleston.  The family has requested there be no service for Conner, survived by a husband, a son and a daughter. A native of Elyria in northern Ohio, Conner had worked as an emergency room nurse and an emergency medical technician in South Carolina.

Investigators say they found no immediate indication there was any malfunction with the aircraft before the accident and that the engine seemed to be working properly.
