Ohio Mother Charged In The Death Of 5-Year-Old Son

CLEVELAND—Police in Cleveland say a woman is charged with aggravated murder after she allegedly beat her 5-year-old son, who later died.
Arshon Baker died Saturday, one day after being hospitalized with head injuries, cuts, bruises and burns on his body.
His mother, 24-year-old Angel Glass was arrested and held on suspicion of felonious assault. She was charged Tuesday with aggravated murder.
Police Lt. Thomas Stacho says the mother told police she began beating the boy last Friday with a brush and belt after he interrupted her while she was doing another woman’s hair.
Stacho says the boy eventually went limp after hitting his head on a table.
The Cleveland City Jail could not immediately say late Tuesday if Glass is represented by an attorney.
