Operation Respect:  Retire Your Old Flags

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Today between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m., The Andersons and the Ohio Military Reserve will help residents properly dispose of old American flags.

In conjunction with Veteran’s Day, two local Andersons stores will be sponsoring Operation Respect by collecting and properly disposing faded, worn and damaged American flags.  Flags will be turned over to the Columbus-area Boys Scouts of America for official disposal.

Flags will be collected at 5800 Alshire Road and 7000 Bent Tree Boulevard today until 5 p.m. and tomorrow between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m.
