OSP Investigating Fatal Crash In Marion

MARION, Ohio—Last night around 9:30 pm, The Ohio State Highway Patrol was called to the intersection of S.R 529 and S.R. 98 in Marion on a 2-vehicle car crash.  A preliminary investigation shows, Julian Walker, 97 of Marion, failed to stop at the stop sign on S.R 529 and was struck by Stephen Weichenthal, 28 of Marion. 

Walker was pronounced dead at the scene and Weichenthal was transported to Marion General Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.  The crash remains under investigation at this time.
