Patrol: Detached Trailer Hits Woman At Mailbox
ST. PARIS, Ohio—A woman was injured seriously Wednesday evening when she was struck by a flat-bed trailer in front of her house.

Troopers continued to investigate a crash that seriously injured a pedestrian on Wolcott Road in Champaign County’s Jackson Township.
Paula S. Lowry, 46, of St. Paris was standing at her mailbox in front of her residence on Wolcott Road at about 6:05 p.m. Wednesday when she was struck by a flat-bed trailer that was traveling eastbound on Wolcott Road.
The trailer had become detached from a 1992 Chevrolet that was being operated by 35-year-old Kevin W. Fisher of Tipp City, Ohio.
Fisher was not injured in the crash.
Lowry was transported by medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital in Dayton in serious condition.
