Vehicle Plunges Into Deep Ditch, Driver Dies
CIRCLEVILLE, Ohio—The Pickaway County sheriff’s office continued to investigate a one-vehicle crash that happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday on Darby Creek Road.
A release put out by the sheriff said 46-year-old Derl Moore Jr., of Darbyville was traveling on Darby Creek Road and failed to stop at a stop sign.
The 2002 Ford Explorer that Moore was driving crossed London Road and hit a ditch and an embankment.
Moore was pronounced dead at the scene.
