Police Guard High School After Threat Of Gunfire
ASHVILLE, Ohio—Police were at a local high school Monday morning after a threat of violence.

Teays Valley High School worked with Ashville police and other law-enforcement agencies to ensure students’ safety.
A message written in a boys’ restroom stall Monday, Feb. 9, warned the school “would be shot up on Feb. 23,“ school spokeswoman Julie Lazzara, said.
The school sent a letter home to families that explained the situation and told parents there would be a strong police presence at the school Monday.
About 58 percent of the high school’s 1,200 students weren’t in school Monday, Lazzara said.
Lazzara said police presence was set to continue Tuesday, but the number of on-hand officers would be lower.
The school wanted officers to be available to ensure students’ sense of security and so students could ask questions.
No one has been charged in the incident.

Completely agree with Bodie. Not only did these junior thugs threaten violence and create a disturbance, but they made everyone feel less safe in this school. There is just no reason for this kind of chaos in public schools, and authorities need to crack down whenever they can.
It is long overdue that officials make it known that once arrested these “kids” will be charged as adults if over 15 and face a felony record and do some serious jail time. Time they learned that their “games” will cost them far more then they are willing to pay. Convict a couple and the BS stops.
