Man Shot At NE Columbus Apartment

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus Police and Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the scene of a shooting in northeast Columbus.

Police and medics were called to the 1900 block of Oakland Park Avenue on a report of a shooting around 11:00 am Saturday. 

Upon arriving to the area, police found a man shot in an apartment. The victim was transported to the Ohio State University Medical Center with a gunshot wound to the upper chest.  He was transported in critical condition, but was later listed as stable.

Witnesses described two suspects from the shooting to police.

Columbus Police continue to investigate.
