CUYAHOGA FALLS, Ohio—Authorities say they found dozens of pipe bombs and an assortment of firearms at an Ohio apartment where a man was injured in an explosion.
Neighbors at a building in Cuyahoga Falls said they heard two thunderous booms coming from one of the apartments Monday night. The man who lived in the unit, 56-year-old Mark Campano, was treated at a hospital for a hand injury.
Police say they recovered at least 35 homemade pipe bombs, other unfinished bombs, and 18 guns including a .38-caliber pistol with a homemade silencer.
No charges have been filed. U.S. Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives spokeswoman Kim Riddell says the investigation is in the early stages.
There was no answer Wednesday at a phone listing for Campano.

In response to JustAnotherDay, I don’t care if hes a Muslim or not. The second you break the laws of this country (illegally crossing borders, robbery, rape, murder, and yes even illegally manufacturing explosives) you have lost your rights!! Nobody has a legitimate reason for explosives being stored in their apartment. I am a strong 2nd ammendment supporter and I say this guy should’ve blown up more than his fingers.
Ah, yet another homegrown terrorist. I’m sure somebody will defend him though, insisting that he was just exercising his 2nd Amendment rights by storing a dangerous arsenal of explosives for his own personal protection. As long as he isn’t muslim it’s okay, right?
