Search On For Ohio Woman With Learning Disability
Published: August 13, 2009
TOLEDO, Ohio
Police in Ohio are stepping up their search for a missing woman who has muscular dystrophy, multiple sclerosis and learning disabilities.
The family of Cindy Sumner says it has been a week since they last saw the Toledo woman. That’s when they told police that she was missing after she failed to meet her mother.
Family members are worried because Sumner missed a party for her 21st birthday.
Police say they have been following up on tips throughout the week.
Community members have been circulating fliers throughout the woman’s neighborhood.
