You Question. We Get Answers.

A viewer wrote to NBC 4 wondering about companies that claim to sell a health food supplement, but instead are signing customers up to long-term commitments that seem impossible to get out of.

Sherry from Columbus said a company selling the Acai Berry took her money and signed her up for more than she expected.

Watch the full video clip above.

What can you do?

Before purchasing Acai products, make sure you read all the terms and conditions before giving your payment information to the company.

The Better Business Bureau recommends checking out the seller first. There is a Web site that grades companies and keeps track of consumer complaints.

Contact the Attorney General’s office if you feel you have been treated unfairly.

Some people never learn. I will go to Wal-mart and buy some of there’s and I will take it and my juice to my Naturalpathic MD so that they can check them both for nutritional content and purity. When I get the report I will post it here. And by the way, I might have been born in the morning but I wasn’t born yesterday morning. Have A nice day.

My price for the Ocean Front Property near Phoenix just went up.
The BBB may not have the complaints because most people have learned the BB has no teeth and very little bark.
Yes Consumer Groups and AG’s Offices are looking at your Acai provider and you won’t find anythng on any website until a group of AG’s get together to file in a Federal Court ... I’ll put by $7.95 Acai Berry from walmart up against yours for purity and “value”
any day. I am just sorry you fall for internt and ad scams making claims they can’t back up.

I just checked the BBB and they gave Mona Vie A rating of A- and report no complaints for last 3 yrs. And they also said they have no knowledge of any investigation’s against them. I also checked several states attorney general sites and found no investigation being done by them either. Are you an honest person or just spouting hogwash so your product’s will sell better?

What I claim is from personnal experience and not false. I don’t lie. Also not false is the scientific studies that have been documented and proven. All other claims come from every individual who have used this product and have experienced the health benefits personally. You can view all the new’s report’s from several different broadcaster’s at RealHealthAnswers.com . This site has every report for the last year. Some people don’t recognize a good thing when it finally come’s along. I hope this site can shed some light on this matter for you. Best to your health. Don’t let all the junk going around blind you to the one that is tried and TRUE.

I have researched many Acai product’s and from what I have read the product’s you can buy so much cheaper in the stores were processed in a way that they lose 90% of the nutritional value. The Mona Vie has A patent process of flash-freezing so it retain’s 98% of Phytonutrient’s and anti-oxidant’s. No other company has this process.I think I perfer A product that gives me my money’s worth. Why waist money on something that has been left with no health benefit’s left in it?

I tried to view the video of one person’s complaint about Acai Berry company’s but it didn’t want to play. I have just joined the number 1 company called Mona Vie. I signed up for free , I order my product as I need it , but you do have the option of auto-ship if you want to . I joined 2 week’s ago and just received an email that i had already earned 60 dollars just for the 2 people that i have signed up with me.One bad review that i couldn’t even view is nothing compared to the thousands of reviews praising this company and the work there doing with the M.O.R.E project.Do your homework before you post bogus stories to the press. Sometimes a good one comes along that doesn’t deserve dishonest people’s comment’s that don’t have all there fact’s straight.

We both take Acai Berry supplements daily and you can buy them at Vitamin World or Walmart.
No need to sign on with some ripoff company to get this product.
