Gunman Enters Home, Shoots Man

COLUMBUS, Ohio – A man is in critical condition after being shot while sitting inside a home on Hiawatha Street Wednesday night.

NBC 4 gives you the FAST FACTS.
The shooting occurred just before 11 p.m. Wednesday at a home located on the 3000 block of Hiawatha Street.

Witnesses told police a man entered the home and began firing a gun at 32-year-old Terrace Simmons.

According to Columbus police, they found Simmons suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest and left hip when they arrived at the scene.

Simmons was transported to a Columbus-area hospital in critical condition.

No suspects have been named.

The victim has an outstanding warrant for a vicious dog charge from 2008.  He also was found guilty of hit-skip in 2005.  Could he have ticked-off someone?
