You would be amazed at how many unlicensed and underaged teens there are out there driving around.  Nothing happens to them when they get caught or have an accident.  They threaten to suspend their license or ability to obtain a license until the age of 18 but it rarely happens.  And if they have the money they can buy a car and get a license tag for it whether they have a drivers license or insurance or not.  Makes me wonder if all the ever increasing laws and rules trying to legislate everyone’s every move is causing people to just ignore them.

Good grief!  While you’d think a minor could start a car, you’d also have to wonder why a parent would let them do that?  My mother NEVER let me touch the car!
