Toxicology results show that LSD was found in the brain of an 18-year-old man who died at Comfest in June.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—Toxicology results show that LSD was found in the brain of an 18-year-old man who died at Comfest in June.
Police were called to Comfest on June 27 and found Bryan Barbin, who had four to five stab wounds.
Barbin died from his injuries at Grant Medical Center.
In late June, officials announced that his death was ruled accidental, not criminal.
According to the Franklin County coroner’s office, toxicology exams found LSD in the victim’s brain and that his blood tested positive for marijuana.

1. 4 or 5 stab wounds..self inflicted?
2. Coroner initially said the stab wounds were not the cause of death.
3. Two mind altering substances found in the blood and brain, but no way of knowing when the agents had been ingested or any direct or causal relationship to his death.
I wonder what the Coroner signed off on in the Death Certificate as the causal cascade for the cause of death.
I wonder what is in store for next year at Comfest.
Not proud of it but I have done LSD. I’ve done more than what a person should do at one time. I’ve had good trips and BAD trips. Even in my worst trip I could have never killed myself, especially to do it by stabbing myself with a knife. In my opinion he would have had to have suicidal thoughts prior to taking it.
ive not done this drug but have watch people hallucinate and claim the devil was chasing them and people melting in front of them. it has something to do with the drug making thier brain bleed and this is the desired effect but most times ive ben told it isnt negative like this. ive also seen it on the tv show cops and people have great strength fighting with alot of cops. dont do drugs
they did previously state that HE stabbed himself 4-5 times accidentaly. I do not understand it but of course I have never been on drugs. I had a little brother god rest his soul that was and he did some crazy things but nothing that I know of ever to that extreme.
If i remember correctly, the stab wounds were self inflicted. He probably thought he was an alien or something (LSD) and tried to kill himself.
Ok, I’ve never done LSD…so, excuse me for my ignorance. But, how in the world does HIS brain having LSD in it have anything to do with why someone ELSE stabbed him….and why this other person did it “accidentally”? I just can’t, logically, come up with a possible explanation of how you can stab someone 4-5 times ON ACCIDENT! Maybe I’m a little naive….but I don’t get it.
