Two Critical After West Side Shooting

Around 10:30 p.m. on Thursday night, Columbus Police and Division of Fire were called to 631 Kingsford Road on a report of a shooting.

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Around 10:30 p.m. Thursday, Columbus Police and Division of Fire were called to 631 Kingsford Road on a report of a shooting. Upon arrival medics found two people shot.

According to police, a group of people were standing in front of the location when they were shot at. 

Christian Capers, 21, had been shot 4 times and was transported to Mount Carmel West Hospital in critical condition.

Devin Rankin, 18, was shot twice and transported to Grant Hospital, also in critical condition.

Columbus Police are investigating the shooting and have no suspect or motive at this time.
