Two Dead On East Side After Shooting

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Columbus Police were dispatched to 1937 E. Livingston Avenue early Sunday morning just before 1 a.m. on a reported shooting.

Police found one victim in a vehicle and the other victim lying beside the vehicle.  Both victims died at the scene.  Upon further investigation, it was revealed that 16-year-old Marquan Stovall and 18-year-old Kahil Bass had a verbal confrontation.  During the confrontation, both victims shot each other simultaneously.

These are the 71st and 72nd homicides in 2009.
