Victim Tied Up, Vehicle Stolen During Break-In, Robbery

COLUMBUS, Ohio—Officials are investigating a robbery on the city’s south side Tuesday night.

The incident occurred at a home on Marilla Road between 9:30 p.m. and 10:45 p.m., police said.

Authorities said the resident was in his family room on the computer when he heard a loud crash. He went to investigate and was approached by two men.

One of the men had a revolver and told the victim to get on the ground. He was then tied up while the suspects loaded his belongings into is vehicle and drove away in the victim’s vehicle.

The vehicle is a 2001 Hyundai Accent with Ohio license plate CQP5140.

No injuries were reported.

The suspects were described as white man, but no further description was available.
