An 80-year-old driver is forced off the road and crashes into a fire station Tuesday morning.

COLUMBUS, Ohio—An 80-year-old driver was forced off the road and crashed into a fire station Tuesday morning.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

The elderly woman said she was forced off the road.

Her car hit a stop sign and a street lamp before it crashed into Columbus fire station 20 at 2646 E. 5th Ave. on the city’s East Side.

CPD was called to the scene at 11:36 a.m.

The woman was transported to Grant Medical Center. She was expected to recover.

The crash did minimal damage to the fire station.

The women may have said she was forced off the road.  Or maybe it could be she is 80.

maybe.  then again, what was she suppose to say “oh my goodness, i couldnt see that big building in my way.  i wonder why it didnt move?“
