A woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition late Tuesday night after being severely assaulted with a box cutter.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—A woman was transported to an area hospital in critical condition late Tuesday night after being severely assaulted with a box cutter.
The incident occurred around 11:00 p.m. on the east side of Columbus. Officials told NBC 4 the woman was stabbed multiple times and the weapon used in the attack appears to be a box cutter. She was found on East Main Street, where she had collapsed from her injuries. She was quickly transported by CFD Medic to Grant Hospital.
Columbus Police Assault Squad Detectives are currently investigating the incident.
