Female Friends Tell Authorities They Were Kidnapped

CENTRAL OHIO—CPD and the Licking County sheriff’s office continued to investigate an alleged abduction that began in Columbus and ended at Buckeye Lake Saturday.

NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.

A 17-year-old female and a 22-year-old woman, who say they are friends, said they were kidnapped at 9 a.m. from an area near Parsons and Southwood avenues on the city’s South Side.

They said two black males forced them into a green vehicle of unknown make and model and told them they were headed for West Virginia to be prostitutes.

The females told authorities they told their kidnappers they needed to use a restroom.

When they were allowed to leave the vehicle and go into a Buckeye Lake Duke and Duchess store alone, they locked themselves in a restroom.

They said the two men who allegedly took them at gunpoint left without them.

That was at about 5 p.m.

Columbus police told NBC 4 it was following all the leads given to them by the women and hoped to see surveillance video from the store in Buckeye Lake Monday.

NitaKaye, love your female logic!  I knew immediately they were lying, and that makes me a clueless idiot who doesn’t know women.

So what does that make you?

Landru, you are either a chauvenistic pig, or just a clueless idiot who doesn’t know women, much less anyting else. Or maybe just some poor schlub who is once bitten twice shy when it comes to women. Poor guy. The only women you know are trouble. You mention runaway bride, et al. That’s one woman, plus these two here. How does that make all women bad? We could name thousands more dead beat men than you could women.

FAKE!  FAKE!

Ahahahahahahaha

FAKE!  FAKE!

Anyone with even minimal common sense could see it was fake.  It’s what women do (Runaway Bride et al).  I doubt the cops bought that story for more than two minutes.

It has been updated on my local paper. The women were arrested for fabricating this story. So NOW you guys have the leeway to say what ever you want about these women. Have at it. But please don’t lump all women in the same pile. I (and no other woman I know) would pull an idiotic stunt like this! I wouldn’t have gotten in the van with two guys I didn’t know to begin with! Who knows what these guys could have done. And I would never have fabricated a story about them to get them in trouble! The truth always comes to light!

Why is this story not being updated?

I find it simply astonishing how some people, well the same people show their astounding ignorance every time they post a remark. If the old adage is true that “ignorance is bliss” there is a hap hap happy person on these blogs. I am also amazed that oxygen is still taken in when someone’s cranial region is inserted on an almost constant basis in their colo-rectal region. Let’s do this for a change: let the real story come out if it has not already and then commence condemning the evil wrong doers whomever they may be and then pass judgement on them (which by the way is not your place.) I won’t even get into the racial side of the argument for that too is skewed.

NitaKaye - It’s inevitable that someone is going to say that this was race oriented. It never fails and there is usally no changing their mind. If it were 2 black women that claimed the exact same thing race would not have even been mentioned!
“Women doing what they do.“ - Are you serious? What is wrong with you, can you not help yourself?
BTW, Parson’s Ave. is not the best of areas. I was going to the post office a few years back on Parson’s (it was the closest one to my office) and I was almost carjacked by…what for it…2 black men. It had nothing to do with race, it just was what it was. I guess I could have claimed it was racially motivated too, 2 black men intentionally prayed on an alone white girl, maybe they were doing racial profiling and picked me just because I was white. Guess it just doesn’t have the same ring to it.

Landru, what in the world do you mean by ‘women doing what they do’??? I’ve never falsely accused a man of any wrong doing. And I’ve never used a man to get somewhere or used them by promising something I was not willing to give. If that’s what you mean then you are a bigot! As for hoping the girls are telling the truth, I meant that I hope they prove all you people wrong in your postings assasinating their character, not that I hope for perverts kidnapping women for sex slaves!

NitaKaye, why do you hope they are telling the truth?  Do you think it’s a good thing that young women are being kidnapped at gunpoint to be taken to West Virginia to serve as sex slaves?

I hope when the truth comes out (if it has not already) that instead of a violent abduction, it was merely women doing what they do.

What is so amazing to me is that some people feel the need to draw conclusions without all the facts. I hope these girls are OK. Having said that, I hope they are telling the truth because so many people are willing to believe the worst about them. I, too, questioned the validity of their story when I saw it on the news, but would never post on here how I thought they were racist, or looking for a party and changed their minds about it, without first having some facts on my side. Shame on you all! Now, if it comes out they were lying, then have at it!
