A wrong-way driver crashes into another vehicle in the state Route 315 construction zone overnight.
COLUMBUS, Ohio—A wrong-way driver crashed into another vehicle in the state Route 315 construction zone overnight.
NBC 4 reported with the FAST FACTS.
Columbus police said the driver was traveling northbound in the southbound lanes.
The vehicle was reported first going the wrong way at S.R. 315 and Goodale Avenue at about 1:27 a.m.
The vehicle crashed head-on with another vehicle about 2 miles away from that location near the Lane Avenue exit, according to authorities.
The driver was taken into police custody.
No one was injured in the incident.

I agree with the confusion of the high number of occurrences of this in the last 3 or so years… what is so difficult about recognizing the correct path to take on onramps/offramps? If DO NOT ENTER in huge red & white isn’t enough to clue you in, how did you ever get a license to begin with?
According to police reports, the not at fault driver (one who got hit by wrong way,) was also arrested for driving intoxicated!
I imagine it’s hard to read when you’ve either never learned or are so blasted out of your head drunk or high.
What is this?! Is it just that we hear about these types of accidents more now and they have always happened, or are there really that many idiots on the roads today who can’t read?! There are large signs that say WRONG WAY, they’re bright with large font.
