Man Charged With Death Of Pregnant Wife, Unborn Child
[dateline] -- A man is in jail this morning after he was charged with the death of his pregnant wife and unborn child.
Alfonso Martinez, 29, is suspected of driving drunk yesterday morning, NBC 4 reported.
Martinez ran a red light at Hayden Run Road and Riverside Drive and plowed into a salt truck, Perry Township Police said.
Three children also were injured in the accident.
Police charged Martinez with two counts of aggravated vehicular homicide, and he could be charged with even more crimes once the results of his blood-alcohol test are available, according to reports.
