Fairfield County Commissioners Pass Sales Tax Increase

LANCASTER, Ohio —Fairfield County Commissioners voted on Friday to increase the sales tax to six and a half percent.

The increase will generate an estimated $2.8 million more in revenue.

This is a quarter percent increase, beginning January 1, and will be only be in effect for the next four years.
